Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Evans graduated in 2007 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a one-year internship in equine medicine, surgery, reproduction, and dentistry at BEMC. 

Dr. Evans enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in equine dentistry. She has completed advanced training in both equine and small animal dentistry. In the Spring of 2012, she became certified in veterinary acupuncture and is now practicing acupuncture on horses and small animals. 

During college, she was a member of the Miami University Equestrian Team.  She loves to cook and is an avid outdoors person. She and her husband Blake both enjoy skiing (downhill and skate), fly fishing, mountain biking, golfing, and mostly, spending time with their daughter Ryan.

Dr. Evans became a veterinary associate at BEMC in 2008.

As of March 31, 2023, Bend Equine Medical Center will be discontinuing our small animal veterinary division other than chiropractic and acupuncture. As always, we continue to proudly serve as Central Oregon's premier equine hospital and offer around-the-clock care for your horses and equids.
